Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of quality assurance tasks to uphold Almarai’s commitment to excellence. Your core duties will include:

• Product Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines. Utilize both manual and automated testing methods to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of inspection results, test data, and quality control reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible for audits and regulatory reviews.
• Compliance and Standards Adherence: Monitor and enforce compliance with local, regional, and international quality standards, including ISO, HACCP, and GMP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve quality management systems.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Identify deviations or non-conformities in production processes and take corrective actions to mitigate risks. Work closely with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Equipment Calibration and Maintenance: Ensure that all quality control equipment, such as scales, thermometers, and testing devices, are properly calibrated and maintained. Report any malfunctions or discrepancies to the appropriate teams for resolution.
• Training and Development: Assist in training production staff on quality standards, safety protocols, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A diploma or degree in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Relevant certifications in quality management systems (e.g., ISO, HACCP, or GMP) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and precision in all tasks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
