Position Overview

The Junior Front-End Developer will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications and user interfaces. Collaborating closely with seasoned developers, designers, and product teams, you will contribute to the creation of responsive, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences while simultaneously honing your technical skills. This role is ideally suited for early-career professionals, recent graduates, or individuals with hands-on experience through internships, freelance work, or personal projects who are eager to establish a strong foundation in front-end development.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of front-end development tasks, including:

• Front-End Development: Develop responsive, mobile-friendly web pages using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
• UI Component Development: Assist in building reusable UI components and interactive interfaces to enhance user engagement.
• Design Implementation: Transform UI/UX designs into clean, functional, and responsive web applications that align with user expectations.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure websites and applications are optimized for speed, performance, and cross-device compatibility.
• Application Maintenance: Debug and resolve front-end issues, maintain existing web applications, and implement new features to improve user experience.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver cohesive digital solutions.
• Agile Participation: Engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to team progress and continuous improvement.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to development best practices and version control procedures.
• Testing and QA: Participate in testing, quality assurance, and bug-fixing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance product quality and development efficiency.

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in front-end development or web development.
• Prior experience through internships, freelance work, academic projects, or personal initiatives is highly encouraged.
• A solid understanding of responsive web design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Git version control to manage and track code changes effectively.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should possess proficiency in the following technical areas:

• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Understanding of responsive CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON for seamless data integration.
• Basic knowledge of browser developer tools and debugging techniques.
• Awareness of responsive design principles, web accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.

Preferred Qualifications
