Information Technology Program Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Technology Program Manager to join our client’s IT Department. Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end management of IT programs, including the coordination of multiple interdependent projects to achieve strategic business outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between senior leadership, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication, alignment on priorities, and resolution of any conflicts or challenges.
• Project Delivery & Methodologies: Apply robust project delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) to streamline processes, mitigate risks, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of IT solutions.
• Technology & Process Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, cybersecurity principles, and emerging technologies to guide decision-making and innovation.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor program progress through key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and regular status updates, providing actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
• Resource & Budget Management: Allocate and optimize resources, including personnel, tools, and financial budgets, to maximize efficiency and ROI for IT initiatives.
• Risk & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to minimize disruptions and ensure program continuity.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines is required:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Information Systems
  • Or a closely related field.
• Academic Excellence: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher is mandatory to demonstrate a strong academic foundation in technical and analytical skills.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 to 9 years of relevant experience in Program Management, Project Management, or IT-related roles, with a focus on delivering complex IT initiatives.
• Technical & Soft Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in managing IT programs and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong grasp of IT processes, technology solutions, and project delivery frameworks (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Scrum).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration and alignment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems efficiently and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
