Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Installation Manager to join our dynamic team at Hitachi in Jeddah. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of installation projects, ensuring seamless execution, adherence to timelines, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale installation projects across various industries.

Key Responsibilities

The Installation Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and delivering high-quality installation services. Core responsibilities include:

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of installation activities.
• Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead a team of installation technicians, engineers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to enhance team capabilities and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and project management teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client expectations and business objectives.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure installations meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks or deviations.
• Budget and Resource Management: Oversee project budgets, including cost tracking, procurement of materials, and efficient resource utilization. Optimize processes to minimize waste and maximize operational efficiency.
• Technical Expertise and Troubleshooting: Apply in-depth technical knowledge to resolve complex installation challenges, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance project outcomes.
• Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies. Conduct safety training sessions, risk assessments, and incident investigations to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications or qualifications in project management are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in installation management, with a focus on large-scale projects in industries such as energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of installation methodologies, equipment specifications, and industry regulations. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD tools is advantageous.
• Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing diverse teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Strong decision-making skills with a focus on delivering results under pressure.
• Certifications: Valid certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant industry-specific certifications are preferred.
