Job Title: EAM Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EAM Lead to join our dynamic Facility Management team based in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system, ensuring seamless operational efficiency and strategic asset utilization across all facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in EAM solutions, coupled with exceptional leadership and project management capabilities to drive continuous improvement and innovation within our asset management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- System Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive EAM strategy aligned with organizational objectives, ensuring the system’s scalability, reliability, and alignment with industry best practices. Lead the integration of EAM processes with other enterprise systems to enhance data consistency and operational transparency.
- Team Management and Collaboration: Supervise and mentor a cross-functional team of EAM specialists, asset managers, and technical staff. Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing, problem-solving, and continuous professional development to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Process Optimization and Compliance: Identify opportunities to streamline asset management workflows, reduce downtime, and minimize operational costs through data-driven decision-making. Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance, safety standards, and internal policies to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
- Technical Expertise and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in EAM, such as IoT, predictive maintenance, and AI-driven analytics. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to enhance asset performance, lifecycle management, and predictive maintenance capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management, providing regular updates on EAM system performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic initiatives. Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations effectively.
- Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee relationships with EAM software vendors, third-party service providers, and contractors. Negotiate service agreements, ensure timely deliverables, and evaluate vendor performance to maintain high standards of service quality.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in asset management, facility management, or a closely related discipline is required, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity. Proficiency in EAM software platforms, such as IBM Maximo, SAP PM, or Infor EAM, is essential, along with a strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, and work order systems.
Candidates should demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. Certification in asset management (e.g., Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional - CMRP) or a related discipline is highly desirable. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
