: Senior Network Security Manager / Lead – Network Security

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Manager / Lead to join our dynamic team at Change Information Technology in Jeddah. This pivotal role is designed for a seasoned professional who will take the lead in designing, implementing, and managing robust network security frameworks to safeguard our organization’s critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive network security strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring the protection of data, systems, and networks from internal and external threats.
• Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
• Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify potential security gaps and recommend mitigating measures.
• Policy Development: Establish and enforce network security policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Incident Response: Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts, while minimizing operational impact.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise a team of network security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation within the department.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, third-party service providers, and internal stakeholders to evaluate, deploy, and integrate security technologies and solutions.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to relevant cybersecurity regulations and conduct regular audits to validate compliance, reporting findings and remediation plans to senior management.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees on emerging threats, safe computing practices, and their roles in maintaining a secure environment.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in network security, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring solutions is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, encryption technologies, and security frameworks. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevSecOps practices is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and inspire a high-performing team.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
