We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Operations Director to helm the operational strategy and execution of our insurance broking businesses. This role carries overall responsibility for the performance and effectiveness of selected insurance broking entities across the region, on an as-needed basis.

• Account Management: Oversee and enhance account management strategies to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Business Performance: Monitor and drive operational KPIs to achieve sustainable business growth.
• Governance: Strengthen governance structures and embed best practices across the region.
• Technology & Process Optimization: Leverage technology and continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
• Business Enablement: Collaborate with local leadership teams to develop a scalable operating model that preserves service excellence and client experience.

Initially, the focus will be on supporting one country at a time, with a regional mandate. As the Group expands, the role will partner with country leadership teams to drive consistency and performance across the region.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership experience within a B2B insurance broking environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience managing end-to-end insurance broking operations, including account management, placement support, policy administration, renewals, claims coordination, operational controls, regulatory compliance, and business performance management.
• Demonstrated success in managing, servicing, and retaining large and complex employee benefits insurance portfolios while maintaining exceptional client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of insurance brokerage operating models, service delivery frameworks, governance, operational risk, and continuous process improvement.
• Deep knowledge of GCC insurance markets, with particular expertise in Saudi Arabia.
• Highly client-centric, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding service quality, building long-term client relationships, and achieving high retention and renewal rates.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to monitor operational KPIs and drive sustainable business performance.
• A Bachelor's degree is required. An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification and/or professional insurance qualifications are advantageous.
