Job Overview

Laison Eng IT is seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Software Developer to join our dynamic team based in Medina. Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, code, test, and deploy robust software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet industry standards.
• System Architecture: Contribute to the design and optimization of system architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical feasibility. Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.
• Code Review & Quality Assurance: Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, readability, and maintainability. Implement best practices for testing, including unit, integration, and system testing.
• Problem Solving & Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues to ensure seamless software performance. Utilize debugging tools and methodologies to troubleshoot and optimize applications.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment on project goals. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, API specifications, and user guides, to support development and operational processes.
• Innovation & Research: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance product functionality and performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript. Experience with frameworks like Spring, Django, React, or Angular is highly desirable.
• Development Tools: Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and development environments (e.g., IDEs, Docker).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver efficient solutions.
• Teamwork & Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; additional proficiency in Arabic is beneficial but not mandatory.
