Signalling (SIG) Supervisor

The SIG Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of our assets, aligning with business needs and operational demands. This role involves:

• Supporting the SIG Manager in prioritizing workloads and maintaining assets according to quality standards.
• Troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring maintenance activities are executed as per work plans and maintenance manuals.
• Upholding quality standards during maintenance and supporting the hiring, training, and assessment of team staff.
• Contributing to Root Cause Analysis, Incident Reporting, and the creation of maintenance documentation.
• Executing and supervising complex maintenance activities, ensuring the safety of teams and adhering to safety processes.
• Reviewing CMMS logs, change management processes, and providing technical analysis for procurement activities.
• Deputizing for the SIG Manager or Head of Transit Systems as required.

We seek a candidate with:

• A technical diploma (minimum requirement) and a degree in engineering (desired).
• At least 5 years of system-related experience in the rail, aviation, or transportation industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in creating Bill of Materials, procurement, competitive tenders, and providing technical clarifications.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience in Root Cause Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and provide input to senior management teams.
• Experience in predicting future failures and providing solutions to increase asset lifecycle.
