Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled L3 Network Engineer to spearhead the strategic design, deployment, and operational support of cutting-edge network infrastructures within enterprise and hybrid cloud environments. Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assume a leadership position in driving network architecture initiatives while managing and optimizing complex network environments, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN integrations. Your expertise will be instrumental in serving as the primary escalation point for critical network incidents, providing high-level troubleshooting, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance network reliability and efficiency. Key duties include:

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and future-proof enterprise network architectures that align with organizational objectives and technological advancements.
• Network Deployment & Management: Oversee the implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-integrated networks, ensuring seamless integration with existing and emerging technologies.
• Technical Escalation & Resolution: Act as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex network incidents, conducting in-depth root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying issues with precision and efficiency.
• Presales Collaboration: Support presales activities by developing comprehensive network designs, crafting tailored solutions, and conducting detailed ROI analyses to demonstrate value to clients and stakeholders.
• Network Assessments & Optimization: Perform thorough network assessments to evaluate performance, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend strategic improvements that enhance security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Vendor & Service Provider Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions and support.
• Project Leadership: Lead large-scale network implementation projects from inception to completion, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and delivering results that meet or exceed expectations.
• Automation & Innovation: Develop and implement automation scripts using tools such as Python or Ansible to streamline network operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Disaster Recovery & Resilience: Design, test, and refine disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and minimize downtime in the event of network disruptions or failures.
• Performance Monitoring & Documentation: Continuously monitor network performance to proactively identify and address potential issues, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of network designs, configurations, and change management processes.

Qualifications & Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and expertise:

• Education & Certification: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A CCIE certification is mandatory, demonstrating advanced proficiency in network engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, and switching protocols, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless solutions, and ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure).
• Cloud & Hybrid Expertise: Proven experience in designing and managing network architectures within cloud and hybrid environments, with familiarity in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Troubleshooting & Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues through systematic root cause analysis and logical problem-solving methodologies.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Ansible, enabling the automation of repetitive tasks and the enhancement of network operational efficiency.
• Security & Access Control: A strong understanding of network security principles, access control mechanisms, and best practices to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with diverse IT teams, and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
