Process Development Engineer

The primary purpose of this role is to design, optimize, and implement efficient, cost-effective, and robust manufacturing systems. This involves bridging the gap between R&D and full-scale production to ensure new products can be made safely, reliably, and at high quality, meeting business goals and customer needs.

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Design and conduct experiments and pilot studies to test and validate new process parameters.
• Evaluate and select new equipment and technologies to integrate into production lines.
• Analyze process data using statistical methods to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement process improvements using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Monitor production metrics and quality control data to ensure performance goals are met.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other technical documentation.
• Ensure all processes comply with relevant industry, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and technologies.
• Provide training and technical support to production staff on new processes and procedures.
• Perform any work requested by the direct manager.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, such as chemical or mechanical.

Experience: +4 Years Experience In manufacturing processes, Industry Operations.

Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, several years of experience in process development or a similar role, experience in a manufacturing environment, proven experience in project management, proficiency with software like Aspen Plus or HYSYS, knowledge of SPC and Design of Experiments (DOE).
