About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager – Front Office to join the esteemed team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing the Front Office operations to ensure seamless alignment with Jumeirah’s world-class service standards and the strategic objectives of the property. Your duties will include conducting meticulous room inspections to verify availability and adherence to operational excellence, as well as coordinating cross-departmental activities to enhance collaboration and elevate service delivery.

Key responsibilities include attending daily briefings and communication meetings to disseminate critical information and maintain team alignment, managing complex booking scenarios—including overbooking situations—with poise and efficiency, and ensuring the pristine cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the lobby and entrance areas through close collaboration with the Housekeeping and Concierge teams. This role demands a proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you will bring a minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Front Office operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or Duty Manager capacity within a luxury 5-star hotel setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership acumen, a keen aptitude for guest relations, and the ability to resolve conflicts with diplomacy and decisiveness. A deep understanding of Front Office operations, guest service standards, and hotel management systems is essential, alongside proficiency in English. Additional language skills will be viewed as a valuable asset.
