Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance & Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities
The Finance & Revenue Cycle Management Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of duties designed to streamline financial workflows and maximize revenue integrity. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Revenue Cycle Oversight: Monitor and manage the entire revenue cycle, from patient registration and insurance verification to claims submission, denial management, and payment posting. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including revenue forecasts, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Claims & Denial Management: Identify root causes of claim denials and implement corrective actions to minimize revenue leakage. Collaborate with billing teams, healthcare providers, and payers to resolve discrepancies and optimize reimbursement rates.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing revenue cycle processes and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve turnaround times. Leverage technology and automation tools to modernize workflows.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, including GAAP, HIPAA, and other relevant standards. Conduct internal audits to verify accuracy and integrity of financial data, mitigating risks associated with non-compliance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between finance, clinical, and operational teams to foster alignment and transparency. Communicate financial performance metrics and revenue cycle updates to stakeholders across the organization.
- Training & Development: Provide training and guidance to staff on revenue cycle best practices, coding standards, and regulatory changes. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following competencies:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CPMA) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or revenue cycle management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of financial software, ERP systems, and revenue cycle management tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or Meditech). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies.
