Key Responsibilities

As a QSHE Coordinator (Sales), your core responsibilities will include:

• QSHE Compliance Oversight: Monitor and enforce adherence to QSHE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within the sales department, ensuring alignment with national and international standards.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in sales processes, logistics, and customer interactions, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to sales teams on QSHE best practices, emergency response protocols, and compliance obligations, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

• Audit Preparation and Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to prepare for QSHE audits, ensuring all documentation, records, and processes are audit-ready and compliant with applicable standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the sales department and QSHE teams, facilitating seamless communication, reporting, and collaboration to address compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing QSHE performance data, identifying trends, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001 are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in QSHE coordination, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or food industry, with a proven track record in sales operations.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of QSHE management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSHA, HACCP, ISO standards). Familiarity with ERP or QSHE software is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes of issues, and develop practical solutions to enhance safety and compliance.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive a culture of safety and accountability.
