DC Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive DC Controller to join our Supply Chain team at NADEC. In this critical position, you will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse operations, ensuring inventory precision, and delivering timely reports to support seamless distribution across our extensive regional network. Your role will directly contribute to maintaining operational excellence and driving efficiency within our dynamic supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting: Develop baseline customer demand by collecting, analyzing, and validating data to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory alignment.
• Inventory Planning: Support the planning of inventory levels for existing products, new launches, and phase-outs to maintain optimal stock availability and minimize excess or shortages.
• Inventory Accuracy: Monitor and update forecast consumption at the customer level, ensuring real-time alignment with operational requirements.
• Discrepancy Management: Perform rigorous cross-checks of daily, weekly, and monthly inventory activities to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reports on distribution center (DC) performance, including comparisons of allocation versus actual receipts to support data-driven decision-making.
• Returns Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reconciliations between system records and physical market returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standards.
• Safety and Quality Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols and quality standards within DC operations to maintain a secure and efficient working environment.
• Stock Level Management: Monitor and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to ensure accurate system reflection and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Empty Crate Tracking: Track the return and receipt of empty crates to and from the Haradh factory to optimize logistics and reduce operational inefficiencies.
• Shift Management Reporting: Generate effective shift management reports that provide actionable insights for operational decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Process Improvement: Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing DC efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Warehouse and Logistics, with a preference for candidates with exposure to Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environments.
