We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Admin Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in system administration, virtualization, and infrastructure management to contribute to critical IT operations and drive technological excellence. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in VDI, Active Directory, DNS & DHCP, disaster recovery, hypervisor technologies, and backup solutions, ensuring robust and secure IT environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a System Admin Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our server, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery environments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Server & Virtualization Management: Oversee and maintain server infrastructure, including virtualization platforms such as VMware/vSphere and hypervisor technologies to ensure high performance and availability.
• Active Directory & Network Services Administration: Manage and administer Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services to support seamless network operations and user authentication.
• VDI Infrastructure Support: Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions to provide secure and efficient remote desktop services for end-users.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup Solutions: Develop, implement, and manage disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disruptions.
• Platform Administration: Provide expert-level support for Linux and Windows platforms, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain system stability and performance.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve L2/L3 infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices, monitor system health, and implement measures to protect against cyber threats, ensuring compliance with organizational and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following technical competencies and experience:

• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI): Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing VDI solutions to support remote and hybrid work environments.
• Active Directory & Network Services: Strong expertise in Active Directory administration, DNS, and DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Disaster Recovery (DR): Hands-on experience in developing and executing disaster recovery plans, including backup strategies and failover mechanisms.
• Hypervisor Technologies: In-depth knowledge of hypervisor platforms, including VMware/vSphere, to virtualize and manage server resources efficiently.
• Backup Solutions: Familiarity with enterprise-grade backup tools and methodologies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Linux & Windows Administration: Proficiency in administering both Linux and Windows server environments, including scripting, automation, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications
