Country Manager- Saudi Arabia

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager for Saudi Arabia to lead our operations in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to enhance market penetration, revenue growth, and profitability in Saudi Arabia. Align business objectives with the company’s long-term vision while adapting to local market conditions.
• Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the Saudi market. Conduct thorough market research to assess trends, competition, and customer needs, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry developments.
• Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and adherence to company policies and local regulations. Streamline processes to optimize performance and deliver exceptional results.
• Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing local team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability while aligning team efforts with organizational goals. Provide guidance and support to drive employee engagement and productivity.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in a managerial or leadership role, with at least 5 years in a country management or senior business development position within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Industry Knowledge: Proven expertise in the sports, retail, or trading sectors is highly desirable. A deep understanding of the Saudi market, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape is essential.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive organizational change, and inspire high performance. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are critical.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic. The ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with diverse stakeholders is required.
• Cultural Competency: Sensitivity to local customs, business etiquette, and cultural nuances. Ability to navigate complex social and professional environments with diplomacy and tact.
