Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented RDC Operations Executive to join our dynamic team at Afaq – Warehouse Branch (J02) in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless execution of Amazon Now and UFG (Urgently Fulfillment Group) operations within our Regional Distribution Center (RDC). Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes to uphold the highest standards of efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Coordination: Manage and optimize the end-to-end logistics workflow, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline transportation and distribution processes.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies. Utilize advanced inventory management systems to track stock movements, reduce excess inventory, and prevent stockouts.
• Order Fulfillment: Supervise the picking, packing, and shipping of orders with precision and speed. Ensure adherence to Amazon’s stringent fulfillment standards, including accuracy, packaging integrity, and on-time dispatch.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Conduct training sessions to enhance operational efficiency and safety protocols.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Generate reports to track progress and present insights to senior management.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure full compliance with local, regional, and Amazon’s safety regulations. Promote a safe working environment by enforcing best practices and conducting regular safety inspections.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other digital tools to enhance operational efficiency. Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate innovative solutions to improve productivity.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a combination of operational expertise, leadership acumen, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or professional training in warehouse operations will be considered an advantage.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within a fast-paced e-commerce or distribution environment. Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Amazon’s operational tools and platforms is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret KPIs, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operational performance. Proficiency in using Excel for reporting and analysis is essential.
• Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges. Ability to think critically and implement solutions under pressure.
• Adaptability: Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
