Education IT Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Education IT Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Parent Centre IT in Jeddah. Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and cloud-based systems, to ensure uninterrupted educational operations.
• Educational Technology Integration: Collaborate with educators and administrators to identify and implement innovative educational technologies that align with curriculum goals and enhance student engagement and outcomes.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide timely and effective technical support to faculty, staff, and students, resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and mitigate cybersecurity risks across the educational ecosystem.
• Training & Professional Development: Design and deliver training programs to empower educators and staff with the skills and knowledge required to leverage technology effectively in teaching and administrative processes.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to procure IT solutions, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with budgetary and operational requirements.
• Data Management & Analytics: Implement and maintain systems for data collection, analysis, and reporting to monitor IT performance, track educational outcomes, and inform strategic decision-making.
• Budget Oversight: Assist in the development and management of the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while meeting the evolving technological needs of the institution.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in IT coordination, educational technology, or a related field, with a proven track record of implementing IT solutions in educational settings.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace), and educational software (e.g., LMS, ERP systems).
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in IT governance, cybersecurity, or educational technology (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, ISTE) are a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
