About the Role

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Operations Expert to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Key Responsibilities

• Threat Detection and Response: Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks before they escalate.
• Security Operations Center (SOC) Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the SOC, ensuring seamless coordination between threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability management teams to maintain a proactive security stance.
• Risk Assessment and Compliance: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures, ensuring compliance with local and international cybersecurity standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS controls.
• Incident Investigation and Forensics: Lead forensic investigations into security breaches, analyzing attack vectors, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Security Architecture Review: Evaluate and enhance the organization’s security architecture, recommending and implementing best practices for network security, endpoint protection, and cloud security to fortify the digital infrastructure.
• Employee Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs to empower employees with the knowledge to recognize and respond to potential threats, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
• Vendor and Third-Party Risk Management: Assess and manage cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors and partners, ensuring that all external entities adhere to stringent security protocols and contractual obligations.
• Policy Development and Implementation: Draft, review, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures to align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring a consistent and secure operational environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, with a proven track record in threat detection, incident response, and security architecture, is essential. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
