Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the dynamic team at The Jeddah EDITION, a premier luxury hotel under the Marriott International brand. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of service excellence, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction within our Food & Beverage department. Key Responsibilities

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will oversee daily operations within the department, ensuring seamless service delivery across all outlets, including restaurants, bars, and room service. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of food and beverage staff to achieve operational goals, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Service Standards: Uphold and enforce the hotel’s service standards, ensuring compliance with Marriott International’s brand guidelines and guest expectations at all times.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to maintain cost efficiency while ensuring the availability of high-quality products for guests.
• Guest Interaction: Act as a liaison between guests and the team, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a personalized and memorable dining experience.
• Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills, knowledge of menu offerings, and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols in accordance with local regulations.
• Financial Management: Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and revenue management to drive profitability while maintaining exceptional service quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including housekeeping, front office, and culinary teams, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operational workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage supervision, preferably within a luxury or upscale hospitality environment.
• Education: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, with a strong focus on performance management and staff development.
• Customer Service: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; additional languages, particularly Arabic, are highly desirable.
• Certifications: Valid food safety certification (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe) and knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
