Position Overview

As an ERP Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) solutions that align with our business objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality technical solutions using X++, C#, Power Platform, Electronic Reporting (ER), and Azure DevOps. You will ensure system performance, security, scalability, and compliance with Microsoft best practices while contributing to system architecture, integrations, DevOps governance, and CI/CD automation. This role is critical in optimizing business processes through low-code tools, workflow automation, and seamless third-party integrations, ensuring long-term platform stability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO) solutions using X++, C#, and related technologies to support business operations, reporting, and automation.
• System Architecture & Integrations: Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, and architecture discussions to deliver scalable and secure solutions. Implement integrations using APIs, Data Entities, OData services, and integration frameworks to connect D365FO with third-party systems such as banks, CRM, payroll, tax, and ZATCA.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization: Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in custom code, extensions, workflows, and configurations. Optimize SQL queries, SSRS reports, and Power BI integrations for enhanced performance and reporting capabilities.
• Electronic Reporting & Compliance: Design, configure, and maintain Electronic Reporting (ER) configurations to ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, and statutory reporting requirements. Modify ER formats as needed to align with evolving standards.
• Low-Code Development & Automation: Extend business processes using low-code solutions such as Power Apps and Power Automate. Integrate Dataverse with Finance & Operations to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
• DevOps & CI/CD Management: Implement and manage Azure DevOps for D365FO, including Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and Artifacts. Design and enforce branching strategies (Dev / Build / Main / Release) and version control governance. Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments to ensure seamless and reliable system updates.
• Release Management & Governance: Plan and execute release strategies, including hotfixes, rollback strategies, and patch deployments across environments. Integrate Lifecycle Services (LCS) with Azure DevOps for lifecycle tracking and deployment governance. Enforce code review processes, pull request approvals, and quality gates to maintain high standards of code quality and system stability.
• Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support for system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and post-go-live operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess a strong technical background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, along with proficiency in X++, C#, Power Platform, Electronic Reporting (ER), and Azure DevOps. Experience in system architecture, integrations, and DevOps governance is essential. Familiarity with SQL, SSRS, Power BI, and low-code development tools such as Power Apps and Power Automate is highly desirable.
