We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supervisor Engineering to join our dynamic team at Kaynuna Beach Escape in Yanbu. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all engineering operations to ensure the seamless functionality of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. As a key member of our leadership team, you will lead, mentor, and develop a skilled engineering staff, drive preventive maintenance initiatives, and collaborate closely with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Kaynuna Beach Escape is a premier beachfront lifestyle destination located along the pristine shores of Yanbu, Saudi Arabia. Spanning 30,000 sqm, this vibrant venue is designed to offer unforgettable seaside experiences through a blend of relaxation, entertainment, and community living. The property features 150 sun loungers, 15 spacious private cabanas (each 50 sqm, accommodating 7–8 guests), a 200-cover restaurant, a stylish ground-floor shisha lounge, and a lively rooftop bar and terrace spread across two entertainment levels. Additional amenities include a private jetty for sea-taxi arrivals, landscaped outdoor spaces, a sports hub, a playground, and a year-round calendar of events. Located north of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast, Yanbu is renowned for its majestic beaches and enchanting offshore islands, such as Al-Nawras Island, offering a tranquil yet dynamic setting for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Supervise and coordinate daily engineering operations to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities are maintained to the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics, and safety.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and support the engineering team in responding promptly and effectively to maintenance requests, technical issues, and operational challenges.
• Preventive Maintenance: Oversee the implementation and execution of comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Resource Management: Monitor the condition, usage, and inventory of engineering tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring optimal availability and cost efficiency.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness standards across all hotel areas, including back-of-house and public spaces, in alignment with KH’s ESG commitments.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities, minimize disruptions to guest experience, and support operational continuity.
• Issue Resolution: Track, prioritize, and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure timely and efficient resolution, maintaining open communication with guests regarding maintenance-related concerns.
• Infrastructure Development: Support and guide the engineering team in executing infrastructure improvements, repairs, and ongoing projects to enhance property functionality and guest satisfaction.
• Budget & Cost Control: Assist in managing departmental resources, including cost control, budgeting, and expense tracking, to ensure financial efficiency without compromising quality.
• Training & Development: Train, mentor, and develop engineering team members to enhance their technical skills, operational knowledge, and professional growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in engineering or maintenance within the hospitality industry, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams in high-pressure environments.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety, hygiene standards, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with flexibility to accommodate shifts as required.
