Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Vice President of Procurement and Contracts to lead our executive team and elevate our procurement function to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and executing strategic procurement initiatives, fostering robust vendor partnerships, and negotiating high-impact contracts that drive cost efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies and policies that are fully aligned with the organization’s long-term goals and objectives. Ensure these strategies are executed with precision to support business growth and sustainability.
• End-to-End Procurement Oversight: Lead the entire procurement lifecycle, from strategic sourcing and vendor selection to contract negotiations and ongoing supplier relationship management. Maintain a hands-on approach to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with operations, finance, legal, and other key departments to ensure procurement activities are fully integrated with business needs while adhering to all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
• Cost Optimization & Value Creation: Identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and process improvements. Drive initiatives that enhance procurement efficiency without compromising quality or supplier reliability.
• Supplier & Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain high-performing relationships with key suppliers, ensuring consistent delivery of goods and services while proactively addressing performance or quality concerns. Foster a collaborative and results-driven supplier ecosystem.
• Market Intelligence & Innovation: Monitor industry trends, supplier performance metrics, and emerging best practices to identify opportunities for process enhancements, technological advancements, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Technology & Systems Integration: Implement and optimize procurement technologies and digital tools to streamline workflows, enhance data analytics capabilities, and improve overall operational efficiency across the procurement function.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain a deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements governing procurement and contracts. Ensure all procurement activities are conducted with the highest ethical standards and full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing procurement team by providing clear direction, fostering professional growth, and aligning individual aspirations with departmental and organizational objectives.
• Performance Reporting & Strategic Insights: Develop and present comprehensive procurement reports, performance metrics, and data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a related field is required. A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a closely related executive leadership role, with a proven track record of driving strategic procurement initiatives at the enterprise level.
• Expertise & Skills: Deep knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing methodologies, contract negotiation techniques, and supplier relationship management. Strong analytical acumen with the ability to interpret complex data, conduct market analysis, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Leadership & Influence: Exceptional leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and build enduring partnerships with internal and external partners.
