Key Responsibilities

The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

• Contract Development and Negotiation: Lead the end-to-end process of contract creation, review, and negotiation, ensuring terms are favorable, legally sound, and aligned with JLL’s policies and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and business teams, to secure optimal outcomes.
• Risk Management and Compliance: Identify potential risks in contractual agreements and implement mitigation strategies to protect JLL’s interests. Ensure all contracts adhere to local and international compliance standards, including Saudi Arabian regulations and JLL’s global policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing expert guidance on contract-related matters. Facilitate clear communication between JLL and external partners, vendors, and clients to resolve disputes and foster long-term relationships.
• Contract Administration and Oversight: Oversee the execution, monitoring, and administration of contracts, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and terminations as required. Maintain accurate records and documentation in JLL’s contract management systems.
• Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Support: Partner with the procurement team to develop and implement sourcing strategies that optimize cost efficiency and value delivery. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Training and Mentorship: Mentor junior contract professionals and provide training to internal teams on contract best practices, negotiation techniques, and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the contracts management function.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CISCM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in contract management, legal advisory, or procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or leadership role. Prior experience in the real estate, construction, or facilities management sectors is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in contract management software (e.g., DocuSign, ContractWorks, or similar) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation tactics, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a strong asset.
