Job Overview

Georg Fischer is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance & Retrofit Proposal Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive maintenance and retrofit proposals that align with our clients' operational needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and technical feasibility. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through tailored engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and accurate maintenance and retrofit proposals, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines. Ensure proposals meet client requirements and company standards.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and equipment to identify maintenance needs, retrofit opportunities, and potential upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights.
• Client Engagement: Liaise with clients to understand their operational challenges and objectives. Present proposals, address inquiries, and negotiate terms to secure project approvals.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure seamless execution of approved proposals. Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all proposals and projects adhere to industry regulations, safety protocols, and company policies. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in maintenance and retrofit engineering.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of proposals, project documentation, and client interactions. Generate reports to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, retrofit projects, or proposal development within the industrial or manufacturing sector. Experience in the Middle East region is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of CAD software, project management tools, and engineering analysis software. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, ASME, and API is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable proposals.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong client relationships.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
