License Owner & Operator, Jeddah

Position Overview

Stranger Soccer is seeking a dynamic and experienced License Owner & Operator to oversee and manage the operations of our soccer facility in Jeddah. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of the business, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and driving growth through strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the sports and entertainment industry in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the soccer facility, including staff management, customer service, and facility maintenance to ensure a high-quality experience for all patrons.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full adherence to local licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and business operational standards. Maintain accurate records and documentation for regulatory authorities.
• Financial Oversight: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize revenue, manage expenses, and ensure the profitability of the facility. Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics to stakeholders.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities, such as expanding services, enhancing customer engagement, or exploring new revenue streams.
• Marketing and Promotion: Lead marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers, including digital campaigns, partnerships, and community engagement activities. Leverage social media and local networks to build brand awareness.
• Customer Experience: Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all customers, ensuring their needs are met and feedback is addressed promptly. Implement programs to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
• Vendor and Partnership Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and local businesses to support facility operations and enhance offerings.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business operations, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industry. Prior experience in a managerial or ownership role is highly desirable.
• Licensing and Compliance: In-depth knowledge of local licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and business regulations in Saudi Arabia. Ability to navigate regulatory frameworks and ensure full compliance.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in staff training, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Proficiency in using financial software and tools is a plus.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for patrons. Ability to gather and act on customer feedback to drive improvements.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market conditions.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic and English is required. Additional languages are a valuable asset.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at our soccer facility in Jeddah. The position requires a hands-on approach, with regular interaction with staff, customers, and external stakeholders. The License Owner & Operator will be expected to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business and ensure seamless operations.
