Key Responsibilities

The Junior Test Engineer will be responsible for executing a variety of test-related tasks to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of automotive systems. Your core duties will include:

• System Configuration and Testing: Flash and configure ADAS sensors and electronic control units (ECUs) in alignment with project specifications and test requirements. Conduct bench testing of ADAS components, sensors, and vehicle control units to validate functionality and performance.
• Vehicle-Level Testing: Execute test plans and procedures for vehicle-level testing, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance. Operate ADAS test equipment, including target simulators, calibration tools, data loggers, and diagnostic software.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare, execute, and document test cases with precision, maintaining detailed records of test results and anomalies. Identify, document, and report vehicle or system issues, supporting senior engineers in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Vehicle Operation: Safely operate test vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company safety protocols. Ensure test equipment, tools, and vehicles are maintained in optimal working condition.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering and project teams to communicate test findings effectively. Assist in validation activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate willingness to work flexible shifts and travel as required to support testing activities and project deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Up to two years of relevant experience in automotive testing, validation, or a related engineering discipline.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of vehicle electronics, ECUs, and ADAS sensor systems. Familiarity with automotive flashing tools, diagnostic software, or bench test equipment is advantageous.
• Licenses and Certifications: Valid Saudi driving license with the ability to operate test vehicles. Saudi nationals or holders of a valid, transferable Saudi Iqama are preferred.
• Language Proficiency: Strong command of English (spoken and written); proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills are essential.
• Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, and a willingness to learn specialized test and reporting tools.
