Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Regional Recruitment Advisor to join our dynamic East Region Recruitment Services team. This pivotal role involves delivering comprehensive recruitment support, providing expert advice on recruitment processes, and contributing to the strategic development of NHS Scotland Recruitment Services. The successful candidate will play a key part in enhancing our recruitment operations while ensuring a seamless and professional experience for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Operations: Execute day-to-day recruitment activities, including managing enquiries, processing applications, and coordinating recruitment workflows to meet service demands.
- Advisory Support: Offer expert guidance and solutions to service users on recruitment processes, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with NHS Scotland standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Recruitment Team Lead and Recruitment Services Manager to establish and refine processes, systems, and policies within the East Region Recruitment Services (ERRS).
- Customer Service Excellence: Deliver a high-quality, friendly, and professional first point of contact service to individuals seeking employment opportunities, maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
- Administrative Proficiency: Manage a fast-paced workload with competing priorities, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
- Technical Competency: Utilise Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel proficiently, with a willingness to adapt to and learn new systems as required.
Work Arrangements
The role is based across multiple NHS Scotland sites, including Edinburgh, Livingston, Glenrothes, and Melrose. Flexibility in work location is available, with options for hybrid working arrangements combining office and home-based duties, or full-time office-based work at one of the ERRS sites.
Essential Skills and Experience
We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in administrative roles, particularly within recruitment or customer service environments. The ideal applicant will possess:
