ERP Consultant - Odoo Platform Specialist

Batterjee Medical College seeks an accomplished ERP Consultant to drive the implementation, optimization, and continuous enhancement of our Odoo ERP platform. This role is pivotal in aligning business needs with Odoo solutions, managing projects, supporting users, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver robust, high-quality enterprise solutions that support our academic and administrative operations.

• Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering: Analyze and map business requirements to Odoo functionalities, engage with stakeholders to understand workflows, document processes, and identify system improvement opportunities. Translate business processes into functional specifications and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• System Configuration & Implementation: Perform full system implementation, module setup, and advanced Odoo configurations. Coordinate with Odoo developers to customize and enhance system performance, support data migration, and ensure successful user acceptance testing.
• Project Management & Delivery: Manage assigned Odoo projects, track progress, and maintain reporting documentation. Collaborate with the Enterprise Systems Director to prioritize system enhancements and upgrades, and contribute to research on new Odoo modules and verticals.
• User Training & Support: Conduct end-user and departmental training on Odoo modules and best practices, coach users, and provide functional support post-implementation.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Enhance Odoo product quality, evaluate system performance, recommend optimization measures, and contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and IT systems. Stay current with Odoo updates and community advancements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of configurations, enhancements, and workflows. Prepare reports on Odoo performance, issues, and proposed improvements, and support audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Odoo Certification or formal Odoo training is an advantage. 8-15 years of experience in Odoo Functional Consulting or ERP implementation, with proven experience in business process analysis, solution design, and functional configuration. Required skills include strong expertise in Odoo ERP implementation, solid understanding of ERP business processes, knowledge of SDLC and project management methodologies, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
