Position Overview

Ingram Micro is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Professional, Presales SUSE, to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will serve as a technical liaison between our sales and engineering teams, providing expert guidance and support to customers and internal stakeholders on SUSE solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting pre-sales technical consultations, demonstrating product capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration of SUSE technologies into customer environments. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background in enterprise Linux solutions and a passion for driving customer success through innovative technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Consultation: Engage with customers and prospects to assess their business needs and recommend tailored SUSE solutions, including SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Manager, and SUSE Rancher. Provide detailed technical guidance on product features, benefits, and implementation strategies.
• Solution Demonstration: Conduct live or virtual demonstrations of SUSE products to highlight their value proposition, technical capabilities, and competitive advantages. Tailor presentations to address specific customer pain points and business objectives.
• Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales representatives to develop and execute pre-sales strategies, including proposal development, proof-of-concept (PoC) planning, and competitive positioning. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure alignment between customer requirements and SUSE offerings.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide pre-sales technical support to address customer inquiries, resolve technical challenges, and facilitate smooth product adoption. Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Market and Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies in the enterprise Linux and containerization space. Leverage this knowledge to position SUSE solutions effectively and identify new business opportunities.
• Training and Enablement: Participate in internal training sessions and certifications to enhance your technical expertise in SUSE products. Share knowledge with colleagues and customers to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SUSE technologies (e.g., SUSE Certified Engineer, SUSE Certified Administrator) are highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Manager, and SUSE Rancher. Familiarity with containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution, with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
