Infrastructure Solution Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Solution Expert to spearhead the design, orchestration, and delivery of end-to-end infrastructure solutions that drive digital transformation for enterprise clients. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise across network, cloud, security, and managed services domains. As a trusted advisor, you will engage early with customer leadership to uncover business and technical challenges, craft compelling solution strategies, and ensure the implementation of scalable, secure, and commercially viable infrastructure solutions. You will serve as the technical sponsor, bridging the gap between sales, architecture, and delivery teams to deliver high-impact solutions that align with enterprise standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Solution Expert will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Customer Engagement and Solution Strategy: Collaborate with customer technology and business leaders to identify enterprise needs, pain points, and strategic objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships to position the organization as a trusted technology advisor, driving win strategies and solution approaches that deliver measurable value.
• End-to-End Solution Design: Lead the design and orchestration of integrated infrastructure solutions across multiple domains, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security. Develop enterprise solutions encompassing:
  • Network & Connectivity: Enterprise-grade architectures for switches, routers, SD-WAN, VoIP, and connectivity solutions.
  • Compute & Systems: Windows and Linux environments, server management, and virtualization (VMs) to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Cloud & Transformation: Hybrid cloud and migration strategies, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and multi-cloud environments to enable digital transformation.
  • Security: Robust identity and access management (MFA), firewall architectures, threat intelligence, and network security controls to safeguard critical assets.
  • AIOps & ITOM: Monitoring, automation, and operational intelligence platforms to enable proactive infrastructure management and operational excellence.
  • End-User Computing: Workspace management and digital workplace solutions to enhance productivity and user experience.
• Managed Services and Transformation Initiatives: Design and shape managed services offerings, including 24x7 NOC operations, infrastructure support, service management models, and Application Management Services (AMS). Lead infrastructure transformation initiatives such as cloud migrations, modernization programs, infrastructure carve-outs, separations, integrations, and Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies.
• Operating Models and Technical Sponsorship: Define operating models, SLAs, and transition approaches for managed and outsourced environments. Act as the technical sponsor for infrastructure solutions, both internally and in client engagements, providing expert guidance on AIOps and IT Operations Management (ITOM) frameworks.
• Collaboration and Innovation: Lead solutioning workshops, discovery sessions, and technical walkthroughs. Collaborate with delivery teams, subject matter experts, partners, and client stakeholders to build cohesive, end-to-end solution proposals. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, introducing innovative approaches in automation, cloud optimization, and infrastructure modernization. Contribute to the development of solution frameworks, accelerators, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (particularly Google Cloud Platform), networking, or security (e.g., CCNP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in solution architecture or consulting roles within the IT services industry, with a strong focus on infrastructure and network domains. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, cross-domain infrastructure solutions covering network, cloud, workplace, and security. Hands-on experience in cloud migrations, infrastructure transformation, and managed services solutioning is essential. Deep expertise in security solutions, including MFA, firewalls, and threat intelligence, is required.
