About the Role
We are partnering with a premier real estate company headquartered in Riyadh to identify a highly skilled IT Administrator who will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and optimizing the organization’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in networking and cybersecurity, with a strong preference for candidates who have contributed to the real estate sector. This position demands a proactive professional capable of maintaining robust IT systems, enforcing stringent security protocols, and delivering technology-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee, monitor, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, which includes servers, workstations, networking hardware, and communication systems to ensure seamless functionality and minimal downtime.
- Network Administration: Configure, administer, and troubleshoot essential networking components such as LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches to maintain optimal connectivity and performance.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive cybersecurity policies and best practices to protect sensitive organizational data, systems, and assets from evolving threats.
- Performance and Reliability: Continuously monitor network performance to guarantee the availability, reliability, and security of all IT services, proactively addressing any anomalies or vulnerabilities.
- System Maintenance and Recovery: Execute system upgrades, manage patch deployments, conduct regular data backups, and oversee disaster recovery initiatives to ensure business resilience and data integrity.
- Access and Identity Management: Administer user accounts, access rights, and security permissions to enforce the principle of least privilege and mitigate unauthorized access risks.
- Security Assessments and Remediation: Conduct thorough security assessments, identify potential risks, and coordinate remediation efforts to fortify the organization’s digital defenses.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize operational disruptions.
- Vendor and Service Coordination: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to facilitate IT procurement, maintenance contracts, and service level agreements that align with business objectives.
- Application Support: Offer specialized support for real estate applications, ERP systems, CRM platforms, and property management software to enhance productivity and streamline business processes.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, and system records in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement strategic improvements to optimize IT performance, security posture, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in IT administration, with a strong focus on networking and cybersecurity.
- Prior experience within the real estate industry is highly advantageous, as it provides valuable insights into the unique technological needs of the sector.
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, endpoint security solutions, and advanced security monitoring tools to detect and mitigate threats.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, robust backup solutions, and comprehensive disaster recovery processes to ensure data availability and business continuity.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Certifications
While not mandatory, the following certifications are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- CompTIA Security+
