Technical Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to oversee the execution of multiple technology-driven workstreams within a large-scale smart-building and digital systems program. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who will ensure seamless alignment across all stakeholders while driving progress from design and procurement through installation, testing, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will maintain rigorous oversight of risks, dependencies, and vendor performance, serving as the central coordination hub for all technology-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Coordination: Lead daily coordination efforts across technology packages, construction teams, consultants, and client functions to ensure cohesive collaboration and alignment with project objectives.
• Vendor Management: Oversee multiple technology vendors, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and technical specifications while managing interfaces between technology and construction teams.
• Project Execution: Drive the resolution of technical challenges and delivery blockers, supporting design coordination, procurement, logistics, installation, systems integration, testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
• Risk and Milestone Oversight: Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, decisions, and action items to maintain tight control over dependencies and mitigate potential disruptions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to comprehensive reporting, documentation, and operational readiness planning to ensure a smooth transition to post-project operations.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 8–12 years in project management, with a focus on technology delivery within construction, fit-out, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in delivering or overseeing smart-building, technology fit-out, or digital infrastructure programs, with a practical understanding of ICT, AV, ELV/security, access control, BMS, IoT, smart workplace solutions, or data/server-room infrastructure.
• Vendor Coordination: Strong track record in managing multiple vendors and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, particularly in technology and construction integration.
• Process Knowledge: Familiarity with design reviews, procurement, installation, systems integration, testing, commissioning, and handover methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, planning, and coordination abilities to drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Certifications: PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Availability: Must be available for immediate mobilization and willing to commit to a full-time, on-site contractual engagement in Riyadh.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with smart workplace platforms or IoT-based building solutions.
• Expertise in data center or server-room infrastructure delivery.
• Knowledge of advanced ELV/security systems, including video surveillance, access control, or command-center setups.
• Prior involvement in large-scale corporate headquarters or mixed-use development projects.
• Proficiency in systems integration across multiple technology vendors.
• Familiarity with commissioning and acceptance processes for intelligent-building environments.
