Your Mission

As a Sales Cashier at Nawa Foods, your primary responsibility is to meet and exceed monthly sales targets through proactive customer engagement, strategic upselling, and seamless transaction processing. You will serve as the face of the store, ensuring that every customer leaves with a positive impression and a desire to return. Your role extends beyond the cash register—you will be instrumental in promoting Nawa’s diverse product range, including juices, fresh produce, wellness items, and premium offerings, thereby maximizing basket size and fostering customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed individual and store-level sales targets by actively engaging customers, identifying their needs, and recommending relevant products.
• Customer Engagement: Deliver a warm, personalized shopping experience by greeting customers enthusiastically, addressing inquiries, and building rapport to encourage repeat visits.
• Transaction Processing: Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system with precision, handling cash, card, and digital payments efficiently while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
• Product Promotion: Leverage upselling and cross-selling techniques to introduce customers to Nawa’s premium and wellness products, thereby increasing average transaction value.
• Store Operations Support: Assist with pricing updates, stocking shelves, and maintaining organized product displays to enhance the shopping environment and facilitate easy access for customers.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory tracking, and promptly report any discrepancies or low-stock items to the store management team.
• Compliance & Standards: Adhere strictly to company safety, hygiene, and security protocols to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for both customers and colleagues.

We are looking for a results-driven individual with a passion for sales and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience in sales, cashiering, or retail environments, with a proven ability to meet sales targets or increase basket size.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
• Numerical & Cash Handling Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in handling cash, card, and digital transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Personality & Drive: A confident, warm, and target-oriented personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operations during peak hours.
• Eligibility: Compliance with Saudi Arabia’s Saudization (Nitaqat) and HRDF (Human Resources Development Fund) requirements.
