Senior Laboratory Technologist - Saudi Arabia

Join a leading Saudi Arabian hospital as a Senior Laboratory Technologist, where you will perform a wide range of moderate and high-complexity clinical laboratory tests across multiple disciplines. This role requires a highly skilled professional to work in accordance with established laboratory standards, producing accurate, reliable, and timely results that support the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of disease.

• Perform moderate- and high-complexity clinical laboratory testing using automated analysers and manual techniques across assigned laboratory disciplines, including Chemistry, Serology, Microbiology, Hematology, Molecular Diagnostics, Immunology, and Histology.
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance activities are carried out in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance with standards and accreditation requirements of recognised organisations.
• Participate in the onboarding, training, and competency development of newly hired laboratory staff within the assigned department.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venepuncture and finger-stick blood collection, for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Undertake additional laboratory duties and related responsibilities as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a licensed Medical facility/Clinical laboratory as a Lab Medical Technologist, completion of a 1-year internship, and a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Technology or a Laboratory Science program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). A Saudi MOH Licensed Medical Laboratory Technologist/Specialist is also required. Fluency in English is essential.
