IT Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT project management, digital transformation, and system integration, with a proven ability to drive successful outcomes in dynamic environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical workstreams while ensuring alignment with business objectives, security standards, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects, including digital platforms, infrastructure, system integrations, data platforms, cybersecurity initiatives, CRM, CMS, and enterprise applications. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Project Planning & Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless collaboration. Manage vendor performance, contracts, and deliverables to meet programme objectives.
• Governance & Compliance: Oversee PMO governance, change management, and compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Ensure projects adhere to architecture standards, cybersecurity policies, and operational readiness criteria.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies. Conduct RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) analysis and provide regular governance reporting to senior leadership and steering committees.
• Testing & Release Management: Coordinate testing phases, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and release management, to ensure smooth deployment and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Delivery Assurance & Escalation Management: Provide delivery assurance across multiple vendors and manage escalation processes to resolve critical issues promptly. Support decision-making processes to drive programme outcomes and achieve strategic goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 8–12 years in IT project management, with a focus on technology delivery, digital transformation, or system integration.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements. Familiarity with CRM, CMS, and enterprise applications is a plus.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage project plans, budgets, resources, and timelines while delivering high-quality results.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Governance & Risk Management: Experience with PMO governance, change management, risk assessment, and issue resolution in complex environments.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
