Key Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Operate buses in accordance with local traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of passengers and pedestrians.
• Passenger Service: Provide courteous, professional, and responsive service to all passengers, addressing their needs and concerns with a positive attitude.
• Route Adherence: Follow designated routes and schedules while adapting to real-time traffic conditions and passenger requests to maintain efficiency.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure buses are in optimal working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly to the maintenance team.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and enhance operational performance.
• Sustainability Focus: Support Acciona’s commitment to sustainability by promoting eco-friendly driving practices and adhering to company initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid License: A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a passenger (P) endorsement, meeting all local regulatory requirements.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional bus driving experience, preferably in a similar urban or intercity environment.
• Safety Record: A clean driving record with no major violations or incidents, demonstrating a commitment to safety and responsibility.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach to ensure a positive experience for all passengers.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with GPS systems, fare collection systems, and basic vehicle diagnostics is a plus.
• Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic and English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform duties such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, as well as the capacity to operate a bus in various weather and traffic conditions.
