Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with Roche Diagnostics’ global objectives, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution, to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless coordination and adherence to business goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard operations against disruptions, including geopolitical or economic challenges.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analytics and KPIs to monitor supply chain performance, drive continuous improvement, and report progress to senior leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all supply chain activities comply with local laws, international standards, and Roche’s corporate policies, particularly in the highly regulated healthcare sector.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Champion sustainable practices within the supply chain, such as reducing carbon footprint and optimizing resource utilization, while driving innovation to meet evolving market demands.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), ERP systems, and advanced Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive change management, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, including GxP, ISO standards, and local Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
