Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Capacity Manager to join our dynamic team at TAWANTECH in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities

• Capacity Planning and Forecasting: Develop and implement comprehensive capacity plans to ensure IT infrastructure meets business requirements. Analyze historical data, trends, and growth projections to anticipate future needs and mitigate risks associated with resource constraints.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance, utilization rates, and service levels to identify inefficiencies or potential issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT resources, including servers, storage, networks, and applications, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Resource Allocation and Management: Work closely with IT teams to allocate and manage resources effectively, balancing workloads and ensuring optimal performance across all systems. Implement best practices for resource provisioning, including virtualization, cloud services, and on-premise solutions.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential capacity-related risks, such as system failures, performance degradation, or security vulnerabilities. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to understand evolving requirements and translate them into actionable capacity plans. Present findings, recommendations, and reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
• Vendor and Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies, tools, and vendor solutions to enhance IT capacity and performance. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations to recommend improvements and drive continuous enhancement of IT infrastructure.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies related to IT capacity management. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support audits and compliance efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or capacity management-specific certifications) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT capacity management, infrastructure planning, or a related field. Proven track record in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and resource optimization within enterprise environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of capacity planning tools, performance monitoring systems, and IT infrastructure components (e.g., servers, storage, networks, and cloud platforms). Familiarity with virtualization technologies, containerization, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is advantageous.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Strong problem-solving skills to address capacity-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units.
• Leadership and Project Management: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Experience in leading capacity-related projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of ITIL frameworks, capacity management best practices, and industry standards. Awareness of emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure and capacity planning.
