Key Responsibilities

• Demand Planning and Forecasting: Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate and prioritize IT demands, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational requirements. Develop and maintain demand forecasts to optimize resource allocation and budget planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between IT and business units, translating business needs into technical requirements. Foster strong relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on IT initiatives.
• Service Portfolio Management: Oversee the IT service portfolio, evaluating demand trends and recommending enhancements to existing services or the introduction of new solutions. Ensure that the service portfolio supports the evolving needs of the banking sector.
• Resource Optimization: Work closely with IT teams to allocate resources effectively, balancing demand with capacity to deliver projects on time and within budget. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and cost efficiencies.
• Risk and Compliance Management: Ensure that all IT demand initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Assess risks associated with new demands and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of IT services, analyzing demand patterns and service utilization to drive continuous improvement. Provide insights to leadership on the effectiveness of IT investments and their impact on business outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or COBIT) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT demand management, service delivery, or a related field, with at least 3 years in the banking or financial services sector. Experience in managing large-scale IT projects and portfolios is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL), enterprise architecture, and IT governance. Familiarity with banking-specific technologies such as core banking systems, digital banking platforms, and regulatory compliance tools is advantageous.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus on IT priorities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess complex business and technical challenges.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
