Role Overview
Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDT Finance Manager, Saudi (173599) to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee financial operations, drive strategic financial planning, and ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership: Lead the financial management of the CDT (Country Development Team) in Saudi Arabia, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize resource allocation, cost efficiency, and revenue growth, while supporting long-term business sustainability.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Colgate-Palmolive’s global financial policies to mitigate risks and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and present accurate financial statements, variance analyses, and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, supply chain, marketing, and commercial teams to drive operational excellence, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
- Tax & Treasury Management: Oversee tax planning, compliance, and treasury operations to optimize cash flow, minimize liabilities, and ensure financial stability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to local leadership and corporate stakeholders, providing financial insights to support decision-making and business expansion strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certification (CPA, CFA, or ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a multinational corporation or a fast-paced business environment. Prior experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is a strong advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), financial modeling, and data analytics tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI is essential.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi financial regulations, tax laws, and IFRS standards, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance in a corporate setting.
- Leadership & Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated ability to lead change, drive process improvements, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
