Life Guard - Delta Hotels by Marriott

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Life Guard to join our team at Delta Hotels by Marriott. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests by maintaining constant vigilance over the swimming area, enforcing facility rules, and providing assistance as needed. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Observing and monitoring the swimming area for any dangerous conditions or struggling swimmers.
• Administering appropriate rescue techniques and first aid when necessary.
• Promoting a fun, relaxing, and safe atmosphere for our guests.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
• Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complying with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Providing excellent guest service and supporting our team members.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Fitness Equipment certification.
• Any additional certifications or training required by local and state agencies.
• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
