Role Overview
The Human Resource Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic and operational success of Food House Hospitality Group by overseeing comprehensive HR functions across its diverse restaurant brands. This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is responsible for the end-to-end management of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. The Human Resource Manager will develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with local labor laws while aligning workforce planning with the group’s business objectives. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing employee records, coordinating training and development initiatives, administering disciplinary and grievance procedures, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture. Additionally, the Human Resource Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to support organizational development, design competitive compensation and benefits programs, and provide insightful HR reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating onboarding, with a focus on attracting top talent to support the group’s diverse restaurant brands.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives to cultivate a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture across all brands.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management frameworks, including setting clear objectives, conducting regular evaluations, and supporting employee development to enhance productivity and service quality.
- HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations by developing and enforcing HR policies, maintaining accurate employee records, and mitigating legal risks associated with workforce management.
- Training & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training, onboarding, and professional development programs tailored to the unique needs of the hospitality industry, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of competitive compensation and benefits packages, ensuring alignment with industry standards and organizational goals to attract and retain top talent.
- Organizational Development: Partner with senior leadership to support organizational growth, succession planning, and strategic initiatives that drive long-term success for the group.
- HR Reporting & Analytics: Generate and present HR reports and analytics to leadership, providing insights into workforce trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement to inform data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a professional HR certification considered a valuable asset. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning, preferably within hospitality, food service, or retail sectors. Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives is essential, along with proficiency in performance management, including objective setting and employee evaluations. A deep understanding of HR policies, labor law compliance, and best practices in compensation and benefits administration is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to design and deliver effective training programs, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and exhibit strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and common office software is necessary, with experience in hospitality-specific HR systems considered advantageous.
