Key Responsibilities
The Credit Supervisor will be responsible for a wide range of duties designed to streamline credit processes and mitigate financial risks. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of credit professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team meets organizational goals and objectives.

- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed credit reports, financial analyses, and performance metrics to senior management. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making and financial planning.
- Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, and operations teams, to build strong relationships with clients and partners. Address customer inquiries, resolve disputes, and ensure a seamless credit experience.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Monitor credit portfolios, identify potential risks, and implement proactive measures to minimize financial exposure. Utilize data analytics and financial modeling tools to assess and manage credit risks effectively.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve credit processes to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve turnaround times. Leverage technology and automation to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or ACCA) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in credit management, financial analysis, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, credit risk assessment tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with ERP systems and data analytics platforms is desirable.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international financial regulations, credit laws, and compliance standards relevant to the hospitality and corporate sectors.
