Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Client Service Account Manager to join our Trade & Working Capital team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless delivery of trade finance solutions while fostering long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of trade finance products, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to manage complex client requirements with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the dedicated liaison between clients and internal teams, including product specialists, risk management, and operations, to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client inquiries and requests.
- Trade Finance Expertise: Provide expert guidance on trade finance solutions, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, trade loans, and supply chain financing, tailored to meet client needs and business objectives.
- Account Management: Proactively monitor client portfolios, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and operations, to streamline processes, resolve escalations, and deliver high-quality service to clients across the region.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to risk management frameworks, anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on client portfolio performance, service metrics, and business development initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in trade finance, corporate banking, or client services within a financial institution. Prior exposure to working capital solutions and trade finance products is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of trade finance platforms, banking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with SWIFT messaging and trade finance documentation is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
