Key Responsibilities

The Senior MEP Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of MEP projects, from initial planning and design through to execution and completion. Your core duties will include:

• Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for MEP projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regulatory standards, and Parsons’ operational guidelines.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing MEP team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture while promoting professional development and accountability.
• Technical Oversight: Conduct thorough reviews of MEP designs, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with industry best practices, safety protocols, and project objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between Parsons, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, facilitating clear communication and resolving issues proactively.
• Budget and Schedule Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks while delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality control measures to ensure MEP systems meet performance, safety, and sustainability criteria, including adherence to local and international codes.
• Innovation and Sustainability: Champion the adoption of cutting-edge MEP technologies and sustainable practices to enhance project outcomes and reduce environmental impact.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments to maintain a secure work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED, or CIBSE) is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in MEP project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or managerial capacity. Experience in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Strong knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and best practices.
• Leadership and Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Certifications: Valid engineering license (e.g., PEng, CEng) and certifications in project management or MEP-related disciplines are advantageous.
