L3 Support Engineer (Microsoft Infrastructure & Messaging)- Riyadh, KSA

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L3 Support Engineer (Microsoft Infrastructure & Messaging) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this critical role, you will provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex Microsoft infrastructure and messaging environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft technologies, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Microsoft infrastructure and messaging platforms, including Exchange Server, Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint, and related technologies.
• Incident Management: Lead incident response efforts, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues while adhering to SLAs and escalation protocols.
• System Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Microsoft infrastructure performance, enhance security, and implement best practices for stability and scalability.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of incidents, resolutions, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Client Engagement: Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients, providing clear and concise guidance on Microsoft solutions, upgrades, and best practices.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with L1 and L2 support teams to mentor junior engineers, share technical insights, and improve overall support quality.
• Project Participation: Contribute to infrastructure projects, including migrations, upgrades, and deployments, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to business operations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, MCSA, MCTS) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting Microsoft infrastructure and messaging environments, with a focus on Exchange Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Exchange Online, Hybrid Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions under pressure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based Microsoft solutions, such as Azure AD, Intune, or Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and networking concepts (e.g., DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and adherence to service management best practices.
