Key Responsibilities

• Contract Administration: Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and review to execution and closeout, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company policies.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor contract compliance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s interests.
• Negotiation and Collaboration: Lead negotiations with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate contract documentation, including amendments, change orders, and dispute resolutions, while providing regular updates to senior management.
• Legal and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all contracts comply with local, regional, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Issue Resolution: Address contract-related disputes promptly and effectively, working closely with legal teams and project stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial resolutions.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between project teams, legal departments, and external partners to facilitate seamless contract execution and delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPCM) are highly desirable.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in contract management, preferably within the construction, infrastructure, or oil and gas sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law, FIDIC, NEC, or other standard contract forms, with hands-on experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret legal and technical documents accurately.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Fluency in English is essential; additional proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
