Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven General Manager for the GCC Cluster to lead our operations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This pivotal role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will report directly to the regional leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence within the GCC markets. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a robust business strategy tailored to the GCC market, aligning with the company’s global objectives while addressing local opportunities and challenges. Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations across the GCC cluster, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices. Optimize supply chain, logistics, and distribution networks to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Identify and develop talent to build a sustainable pipeline of future leaders.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and customers. Represent the company at high-level forums and industry events to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
• Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and budget adherence. Provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial outcomes and ensure sustainable growth.
• Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes within the GCC region. Leverage insights to inform decision-making and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in a managerial or executive role, with at least 5 years in a general management capacity within the GCC region. Prior experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector is preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive organizational change, and deliver measurable results in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of market dynamics, financial management, and strategic planning. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Cultural Competence: Deep understanding of the GCC business culture, regulatory frameworks, and societal norms. Ability to navigate cultural nuances and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
